The Boating Bible Manual of Seamanship is the best aid to teaching and remembering I have seen. It is so easy to use and affordable. I recommend it to all my students.

Jim Murrant started teaching me to sail in 1982. My first overnight race that year with him was the 360nm Montague Island yacht race. We experienced 50 knots and surfed down very large marching seas in a very small boat from Wollongong to Sydney. That was Murrant's first practical lesson in seamanship for me. Since then we have sailed many thousands of miles together including seven Sydney to Hobart races and he remains my mentor today.

If you can't go sailing with Jim, the next best thing is to consult The Boating Bible Manual of Seamanship. If you want to sail well and safely, there's a great deal to learn and this is a great place to start.

I appreciate the wonderful customer support you have provided.  It seems to be something that is harder and harder to find and it is good to know that it still exists!

I have had a look at the Weather and Nav. segments and think the presentation is great.  (Have not seen anything I disagree with in the content yet either!!!!)
I know I will continue to dabble but will end up reading the lot as I did with the book.
Great product.  Congratulations.
